About Transfer Cassette to CD - a division of Audio-Restorations

"In session", circa 1985

Mark Lyon began as a recording engineer in the early '70's when everything was still done with analog "tape". A few years later he designed and constructed, along with his partner, a 16 track studio. After hundreds of hours behind the console, it was time to move on. He became involved in the design and construction of a full blown 24 track studio. Mark was the chief engineer and producer for many years at that location.

Mark has worked with many, many types of music including rock, jazz, blues, new age, punk, gospel, R&B, Ska, radio and TV commercials and everything in between. He is also a musician and song writer and plays guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. He currently has a 32 track studio built in his home.

While raising  a family of two kids, Mark branched out and learned how to write software. He is currently the owner of All Stats Software and has over a dozen software titles published.

With his love of music and experience with computers and programming, audio restoration was a natural. After some experimenting he decided to start Audio-Restorations. It has fast become a full time business with many, many happy and satisfied customers.

In creating Audio-Restorations, he also sought out the best software, along with new and vintage equipment to work with. Here's a list of some of the software and equipment he uses.
